Important Disclaimer: Information on Plots is user-generated and community-contributed. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any lake information, fishing rules, prices, or other data displayed on the Service.
Users should:
- Verify fishing rules and regulations directly with fishery owners
- Confirm current prices before visiting any venue
- Check that they have appropriate licenses and permissions
- Ensure they comply with all local bylaws and regulations
6. Private Property and Trespass
⚠️ Important Warning - Private Property: Many waters listed on Plots are on private property. The listing of a water on our platform does NOT grant you any right of access. Entering private property without permission is trespass and may be a criminal offence.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Waters marked as "Private" have NO public access - you must obtain explicit permission from the landowner before visiting
- Even waters marked as "Day Ticket," "Club," or "Syndicate" require you to obtain proper permission/membership before fishing
- Plots accepts NO responsibility or liability for any trespass, injury, damage, or legal consequences arising from your attempt to access any water listed on the Service
- You are solely responsible for ensuring you have lawful permission to access any property
- Location data on Plots may be approximate and should not be relied upon for navigation purposes
- Property boundaries shown are indicative only and may not reflect actual legal boundaries
If you are a landowner and wish to have your property removed from our listing or have its status updated, please contact us immediately.
7. Fishing Licenses and Permissions
It is your sole responsibility to ensure you hold valid fishing licenses (e.g., Environment Agency rod license) and have permission to fish at any venue. Plots does not provide fishing permits or licenses.
7. Safety and Risk
Assumption of Risk: Fishing and outdoor activities carry inherent risks. By using information from Plots to visit fishing venues, you accept full responsibility for your own safety and actions.
We are not responsible for:
- Personal injury or death
- Loss or damage to property or equipment
- Actions of third parties at fishing venues
- Natural hazards or weather conditions
8. Third-Party Venues
Plots lists fishing venues operated by independent third parties. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for:
- The policies, practices, or conduct of any fishing venue
- The condition or safety of any premises
- Any disputes between users and venue operators
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We disclaim all liability for damages arising from your use of the Service
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months
